本研究の目的は、縫製業に従事する労働者を対象に、職業性ストレスの評価モデルである努力-報酬不均衡（ERI）モデルの「努力」および「報酬」得点と、爪中コルチゾール濃度との関連を明らかにすることである。生理学的指標である爪中コルチゾールを用いることで、ストレスの長期的蓄積を捉える可能性を検討し、主観的ストレス指標との関係性を検証する。

The objective of this study is to examine the association between effort and reward scores based on the Effort-Reward Imbalance (ERI) model and fingernail cortisol concentrations among apparel manufacturing workers. By using fingernail cortisol as a physiological biomarker, the study aims to explore the potential of assessing chronic stress accumulation and to evaluate its relationship with subjective stress indicators.

縫製業に従事する労働者であること（正社員・契約社員・パートタイム・アルバイトを含む）
20歳以上の成人であること
日本語の読み書きができ、質問紙調査および爪サンプルの提供に同意した者
本研究の目的と内容について説明を受け、文書によるインフォームド・コンセントに同意した者

Workers engaged in apparel manufacturing (including full-time, contract, part-time, and temporary employees)
Aged 20 years or older
Able to read and write in Japanese, and consented to participate in the questionnaire survey and provide fingernail samples
Provided written informed consent after receiving an explanation of the study purpose and procedures
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria
日本語
爪に疾患・異常のある者
→ 爪白癬など、爪の状態に異常があり、コルチゾールの測定に影響を及ぼす可能性がある者。
爪を人工的に加工している者
→ ネイルアート、ジェルネイル、スカルプチャー等の人工爪処理を施している者。
最近（前1か月以内）に爪を切ったばかりで、十分なサンプル量が確保できなかった者
→ 爪の長さが足りず、ホルモン分析用の試料採取が不十分な者。
質問紙調査への回答が不十分な者
→ 回答の欠損が多く、努力・報酬不均衡スケール（ERI）や背景要因の解析に支障が出る者。

Individuals with nail disorders or abnormalities
e.g., participants with conditions such as onychomycosis or other nail abnormalities that may affect cortisol measurement.
Individuals with artificially altered nails
Participants who had artificial nail treatments such as nail art, gel nails, or sculptured nails.
Individuals who had recently clipped their nails (within the past month) and were unable to provide a sufficient nail sample
Participants whose nail length was insufficient for hormone analysis.
Individuals with incomplete responses to the questionnaire
Participants with missing data that would hinder the analysis of the ERI scale or background variables.

本研究は、衣料品製造業に従事する労働者を対象とした前向き観察研究であり、労働ストレス（努力-報酬不均衡）と爪中コルチゾール濃度の関連を調査することを目的としている。介入は行わず、対象者の作業環境、生活習慣、心理的ストレスに関する質問紙調査および爪試料の収集を通じて、生理学的ストレス指標との関係性を解析するものである。

This is a prospective observational study targeting workers in the apparel manufacturing industry. The aim is to examine the association between occupational stress - specifically effort-reward imbalance - and cortisol levels measured in fingernail samples. No interventions are conducted. Data were collected via self-administered questionnaires and biological sampling (fingernails), focusing on psychosocial work environment and physiological stress indicators.
