本研究では、大腸内視鏡検査施行者の疲労の程度を評価し、大腸内視鏡検査の時間帯や検査数による疲労の蓄積が大腸内視鏡検査の質に影響を及ぼすかどうかを検証することを目的とする。

The aim of this study is to evaluate the degree of endoscopist fatigue and to examine whether fatigue accumulation, as influenced by the time of day and the number of procedures, affects colonoscopy quality.

本研究で、大腸内視鏡検査施行医の疲労の蓄積の有無を評価し、その疲労の蓄積が大腸内視鏡検査の質の低下に関連するかを検討することは、大腸内視鏡検査施行医の業務効率の向上や健康維持による持続可能な働き方への寄与の一助となると考える。また、今後の大規模で前向きな介入試験を行うための重要な基礎データとなり、医学上の貢献および意義は大きなものであると考える。

Assessing whether fatigue accumulation occurs among colonoscopists and whether it is associated with a decline in colonoscopy quality may contribute to improving work efficiency and promoting sustainable working practices by maintaining endoscopist health. Moreover, the findings of this study will serve as essential baseline data for future large-scale prospective interventional trials, with considerable medical significance.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1. 研究機関の長の研究実施許可日から2028年3月に、研究機関にて午後に熟練した医師（大腸内視鏡検査経験500件以上）が施行する大腸内視鏡検査（スクリーニング、サーベイランスまたは診断目的）を受ける予定の患者
2. 研究参加に同意が得られ、同意取得時に18歳以上の患者

1. From the date of approval by the head of the research institution until March 2028, patients scheduled to undergo colonoscopy in the afternoon at the institution, performed by an experienced physician (with experience of at least 500 colonoscopies) for screening, surveillance, or diagnostic purposes.
2. Patients who have provided informed consent to participate in the study and are at least 18 years of age at the time of consent.
