目的/Objectives

日本語
CTデータでは、Scalp Sparing IMRT(SS-IMRT)により、頭髪温存しながら、脳の必要線量が照射可能なことが示せた。しかし、これが実臨床で可能であり、データ上の計算通りに、頭髪が温存可能なことを示すことを示すことが必要である。SS-IMRT後の経過観察は、先行前向き観察研究と同様とし、その基礎データと比較して、SS-IMRTにより当初の温存が、脳の必要線量を守りながら、可能なことを示すのが本研究の目的である。

CT data showed that Scalp Sparing IMRT(SS-IMRT) can deliver the required brain dose while sparing scalp hair. However, it is necessary to demonstrate that this is possible in clinical practice and that scalp hair can be preserved as calculated on the treatment planning machine. Follow-up after SS-IMRT will be similar to that in our previous prospective observational study, and the purpose of this study is to compare the results with the baseline data to demonstrate that SS-IMRT can achieve initial hair preservation while maintaining the required brain dose.

参加施設で転移性脳腫瘍に対し、3次元治療計画装置を用いて全脳照射を行う予定の症例
試験参加について患者本人から文書で同意が得られている症例
生存が1か月以上見込まれる

Patients with metastatic brain tumors who will undergo whole-brain radiotherapy using 3D treatment planning system at participating institutions
Patients who have provided written consent to participate in the study
Patients who are expected to survive for at least one month
