被験者が臨床的に肺炎と診断された場合、通常の診療で採取された喀痰培養検査に加え、フィルムアレイ呼吸器パネル検査または肺炎パネル検査を実施する。共同研究機関においては、入院時の患者背景および検査データ、28日後の被験者の予後について、基本調査票に記入する。

For subjects clinically diagnosed with pneumonia, a FilmArray Respiratory Panel or Pneumonia Panel will be performed in addition to routine sputum culture. Collaborating institutions will record baseline information on patient background, admission laboratory data, and 28-day outcomes in the standardized case report form.
