Er:YAGレーザーによるフルマウスデブライドメントが、超音波スケーラーによる治療と比較して、歯周病学的パラメータおよび全身への影響を軽減するかを調査すること。

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

（a）広汎型ステージ II から IV の歯周炎、（b）12歯以上の残存歯を有する。
英語
(a) Generalized stage II to IV periodontitis, (b) 12 or more remaining teeth.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria
日本語
（a）残存歯が12歯未満（第三大臼歯および残根を除く）、（b）過去1年間に歯周治療を受けている、（c）歯周炎や歯周治療に影響する可能性のある全身疾患、（d）妊娠
中または授乳中の女性、（e）歯周病検査前3ヵ月以内に抗生物質または消炎鎮痛剤の全身投与を受けている。

(a) Less than 12 remaining teeth (excluding third molars and remaining roots), (b) Periodontal treatment received in the past year, (c) Systemic diseases that may affect periodontitis or periodontal treatment, (d) Pregnant or breastfeeding women, (e) Systemic administration of antibiotics or anti-inflammatory analgesics within three months prior to periodontal examination.
