目的/Objectives

目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
進展距離に加え，転移リンパ節の腫瘍が占拠する状態について分類し, 臨床病理学的検討を行う．また免疫組織化学的染色で転移リンパ節の浸潤先端における免疫チェックポイント分子の発現について検討する．

In addition to the distance of progression, we classify the status of tumor involvement in the metastatic lymph nodes and perform clinical pathological examinations. We also examine the expression of immune checkpoint molecules at the infiltrative tips of metastatic lymph nodes using immunohistochemical staining.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

① 2004年1月1日から2022年5月30日までに長崎大学病院口腔外科で口腔癌の治療を行った症例
② 初回治療で原発巣切除および頸部郭清術を同時に施行した症例。
③ 病理組織化学的検査で原発巣が扁平上皮癌であり、かつ転移リンパ節にENEを認めるもの。

Cases treated for oral cancer at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Nagasaki University Hospital, from January 1, 2004, to May 30, 2022.
Cases in which primary tumor resection and neck dissection were performed simultaneously during initial treatment.
Cases in which the primary tumor was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma by histopathological examination and ENE was detected in the metastatic lymph nodes.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

① 術前化学療法を行った症例。
② 診療情報録から治療内容、病理組織学的所見および予後に関する情報が得られない症例。

Cases that underwent preoperative chemotherapy.
Cases for which information on treatment, pathological findings, and prognosis could not be obtained from medical records.
