目的/Objectives

日本語
双極性障害Ⅱ型（抑うつエピソード）患者の末梢血検体を用い、①血液細胞や血漿中の遺伝子、分子発現からから客観的なストレス指標（ストレスマーカー）を探索、②鍼灸治療が抑うつ症状およびストレス指標に及ぼす影響を評価する。

Peripheral blood samples from patients with Bipolar II Disorder (depressive episode) will be used to: (1) explore objective stress indicators (stress markers) based on gene and molecular expression in blood cells and plasma; and (2) evaluate the effects of acupuncture treatment on depressive symptoms and stress markers.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

（1）同意取得時において年齢が18歳以上
（2）DSM-5による双極性障害Ⅱ型の診断
（3）スクリーニング時に抑うつエピソードの基準を満たす
（4）スクリーニング時のMADRASが20点（中等症）以上

(1) Aged 18 years or older at the time of obtaining informed consent
(2) Diagnosis of Bipolar II Disorder according to DSM-5
(3) Meets the criteria for a depressive episode at screening
(4) MADRS score of 20 or higher (moderate depression) at screening
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria
日本語
（1）統合失調症および類縁疾患（精神病症状を伴うもの）やてんかん、またはその既往歴
（2）過去12ヶ月の躁・軽躁エピソードが4回以上
（3）脳血管障害によるうつ状態
（4）肝臓、腎臓、血液に重症疾患をもつ者
（5）悪性腫瘍を合併し、治療を要する者
（6）妊婦、授乳婦、または妊娠の可能性がある女性
（7）重度の自殺念慮があり、かつ医師が自殺の危険性が高いと判断した者
（8）人格障害、知的障害
（9）物質依存または薬物乱用
（10）心臓ペースメーカーや埋め込み型除細動器を使用している者
（11）その他、研究責任者又は研究分担者が研究対象者として不適当と判断した者

(1) Schizophrenia and related disorders (with psychotic symptoms), epilepsy, or a history thereof
(2) Four or more manic/hypomanic episodes in the past 12 months
(3) Depression secondary to cerebrovascular disease
(4) Severe liver, kidney, or hematological disease
(5) Presence of malignancy requiring active treatment
(6) Pregnant or lactating women, or women who may be pregnant
(7) Individuals with severe suicidal ideation and judged by a physician to be at high risk of suicide
(8) Personality disorders or intellectual disability
(9) Substance dependence or drug abuse
(10) Use of a cardiac pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator
(11) Any other individuals deemed unsuitable for participation by the principal or co-investigator(s)
