選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

以下の少なくとも1つを満たす場合に対象とする： 1） 神経障害性疼痛に対して推奨される 2 種類以上の薬理学的薬剤（抗けいれん薬および/または抗うつ薬を含む）による最適な治療にもかかわらず、疼痛が十分にコントロールされていない。2） 副作用により、標準的な薬物療法に不耐性である。3） 併存疾患、薬物相互作用、その他の臨床的要因により、標準的な薬物療法が禁忌である。

Patients were eligible for inclusion if they met at least one of the following criteria: 1) Inadequate pain control despite optimal treatment with at least two classes of recommended pharmacological agents for neuropathic pain (including anticonvulsants and/or antidepressants), 2) Intolerance to standard pharmacological treatments due to adverse effects, 3) Contraindications to standard pharmacological treatments due to comorbidities, drug interactions, or other clinical factors.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

亜酸化窒素の投与に禁忌がある場合、またはインフォームドコンセントが得られない場合、対象から除外する。

Patients were excluded if they presented with any contraindications to nitrous oxide administration, and inability to provide informed consent.
