近年、健康寿命延長の観点から定年延長など高齢者の就労継続が求められている。本邦では就労継続支援B型という福祉的就労制度があり、認知機能の低下した高齢者が支援を受けながら就労を続けることが可能である。就労継続の効果として、就労のような「やりがい」を伴う活動が認知機能・生活機能の低下を抑制することが予想されるが、実際にそのような効果は実証されていない。この実証のためには軽度認知障害（MCI）の高齢者が福祉的就労として就労継続支援B型を利用することにより、認知機能・生活機能低下の進行が抑制されるかを検証する方法が考えられる。本研究では、1) 軽度認知障害（MCI）の高齢者が福祉的就労として就労継続支援B型を利用するニーズがあるか、また2) 軽度認知障害（MCI）の高齢者が、福祉的就労として就労継続支援B型を利用することにより、認知機能・生活機能低下の進行が抑制されるかの研究が実行可能であるか、を探るPilot study を行う。本研究でニーズと研究実施可能性が確認できれば、MCIの福祉的就労についてのより大規模で詳細な研究に発展させることができる。

In recent years, from the perspective of extending healthy life expectancy, there has been a demand for the elderly to continue working, such as by extending retirement age.In Japan, there is a welfare-based employment system called "Type B Support for Continuous Employment," which enables elderly people with cognitive decline to continue working while receiving support.It is expected that the "rewarding" activity of continued employment will suppress the decline in cognitive function and life function, but such an effect has not been demonstrated in practice.One possible way to demonstrate this is to verify whether the progression of decline in cognitive and life functions is suppressed when elderly people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) use Type B Continuous Employment Support as welfare-type employment.In this study, we will conduct a pilot study to investigate 1) whether there is a need for elderly people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to use Type B continuous employment support as welfare employment, and 2) whether it is feasible to conduct research on whether elderly people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) can suppress the progression of decline in cognitive function and daily life function by using Type B continuous employment support as welfare-based employment.This is a pilot study to explore the feasibility of conducting a study to determine whether the progression of cognitive and lifestyle function decline can be reduced when elderly people with cognitive impairment (MCI) use support for continuous employment as welfare-based employment.If needs and feasibility are identified in this study, it can be developed into a larger, more detailed study of welfare-based employment for MCI.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
・MCI（MoCa-Jが25点以下かつMMSE-Jが24点以上）の基準を満たす方
・60歳以上、85歳未満の方。
・就労群：就労継続支援Ｂ型での作業を希望され、研究参加に同意された方
・対照群：就労継続支援Ｂ型での作業を希望されないが、対照群として研究参加に同意された方

Individuals who meet the criteria for MCI (MoCa-J score of 25 or less and MMSE-J score of 24 or more)
Individuals aged 60 years or older and under 85 years old.
The "work group": Individuals who wish to work at Type B continuous employment support and agree to participate in the study
Control group: Individuals who do not wish to work at Type B continuous employment support, but agree to participate in the study as a control group

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
・一般職やシルバー人材センターなどでの就労を継続される方（自営業や給料の発生しない労働は就労とみなさない）
・身体的な問題で就労継続支援B型での作業が困難な方
・その他、情緒不安定など研究実施者が参加不適切と判断した方

Individuals who continue to work in general employment or through organizations such as the Silver Human Resources Center (self-employment or unpaid labor is not considered employment)
Individuals for whom participation in Type B continuous employment support is difficult due to physical limitations
Others deemed unsuitable for participation by the researcher, such as those with emotional instability
