目的/Objectives

日本語
老年医学分野でサルコペニア（加齢に伴う筋量の低下）が着目されている。筋量の低下、筋力の低下、身体機能の低下がサルコペニアであり、死亡、医療費の増大、日常生活動作能力の低下など社会的な問題との関連があることが明らかになっている。本研究では、筋量、筋力、身体機能の項目を定期的に測定し、回復期病棟入院症例の有病率を明らかにする。筋量低下は、アジアのサルコペニアワーキンググループが提示した筋量低下の基準（男性7.0kg/m2、女性5.7kg/m2）を参考に研究を実施する。筋力の低下は、握力の測定値（男性28kg未満、女性18kg未満）を参考にする。身体機能の低下は、10m歩行、BBS（Berg Balance Scale）、6分間歩行を測定し、総合的に評価する。回復期病棟入院症例における日常生活動作能力維持のための筋量の確立が本研究の目的である。

Sarcopenia (age-related loss of muscle mass) has been the focus of attention in the field of geriatrics. It has become clear that sarcopenia is a decline in muscle mass, muscle strength, and physical function, and is associated with social problems such as death, increased medical costs, and decreased ability to perform activities of daily living. In this study, muscle mass, muscle strength, and physical function items will be routinely measured to determine the prevalence of cases admitted to recovery wards. Muscle mass loss will be studied using the criteria for muscle mass loss proposed by the Asian Working Group on Sarcopenia (7.0 kg/m2 for men and 5.7 kg/m2 for women). The decline in muscle strength will be referenced to the measured grip strength (<28 kg in men and <18 kg in women). Decline in physical function will be evaluated comprehensively by measuring 10-meter walk, BBS (Berg Balance Scale), and 6-minute walk. The purpose of this study is to establish muscle mass for maintaining the ability to perform activities of daily living in patients admitted to the recovery ward.

本研究では、計測にあたり特別な計測を実施せず、診療録に記載のあるものを調査対象とする。調査対象となる項目は①一般的な入院患者、施設利用者、療養者の日常生活評価などの診療録情報②リハビリテーションスタッフで計測される項目を診療録情報に分けられる。

In this study, no special measurements will be conducted for the measurement, and the survey will focus on items that are recorded in the medical record. The items to be surveyed can be divided into (1) medical record information such as daily life assessments of general inpatients, facility users, and caregivers, and (2) medical record information for items measured by rehabilitation staff.
