入院に至っていない要介護・要支援の高齢認知症者に対するGLIM基準の方法論を整備し妥当性を確認するため、筋肉量減少を推定する下腿周囲長のカットオフ値を横断的に検証し、さらに3年後の栄養状態別の生存率を縦断的に検証する。

To establish the methodology of the GLIM criteria and assess its validity in older adults with dementia who require support or long-term care but are not hospitalized, this study will (1) cross-sectionally examine the cutoff value of calf circumference for estimating reduced muscle mass, and (2) longitudinally investigate three-year survival rates stratified by nutritional status.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

研究連携施設のグループホームと小規模多機能居宅介護を利用する高齢認知症者のうち本人および家族（代諾者）の同意が得られる者

Older adults with dementia who use group homes or small-scale multifunctional in-home care services at collaborating research facilities, and who are able to provide informed consent either personally or through a legal representative (e.g., a family member).

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
本人または家族（代諾者）の同意が得られない者。
ベースライン調査時点において、入院中の者、余命数か月の終末期と判定されている者。
リクルーティング段階での認知症の原因疾患や性別、年齢、服薬状況などは問わない。

Individuals who cannot provide informed consent either personally or through a legal representative (e.g., a family member) will be excluded.
Additionally, those who are hospitalized at the time of the baseline assessment or who have been judged to be in the terminal stage with a life expectancy of several months will also be excluded.
No restrictions will be placed on the type of dementia, sex, age, or medication use at the time of recruitment.

本研究は、地域在住の要支援・要介護高齢認知症者における低栄養の的確な評価を目的とし、GLIM基準の妥当性検証を行う観察研究である。横断的解析と縦断的解析を通じて、実臨床における栄養評価の質向上に貢献することを目指す。
