選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

年齢が50歳以上、24時間以上の入院期間、2014年4月から2020年3月までの間、本邦のDPCデータベース上で主要手術を実施された患者を選択した。

Patients aged 50 years or older, with a hospital stay of more than 24 hours, who underwent major surgeries between April 2014 and March 2020, were selected from the Japanese DPC database.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
期間内の2回目以降の入院症例、BMIやADL、入院様式（緊急入院）に関する情報がない例、複数種類の手術実施例、を除外した。

We excluded cases of second or subsequent hospital admissions during the study period, cases with missing information on BMI, ADL, or admission type (e.g., emergency admission), and cases involving multiple types of surgeries.

本研究は、2014年4月から2020年3月までに登録されたDPCデータベースを活用した後方視的コホート研究である。主要手術を実施された症例を対象に、降圧薬使用者/非使用者、その組み合わせ別に、周術期予後を比較し、手術内容による差異を検討する。

This study is a retrospective cohort study utilizing the DPC database registered between April 2014 and March 2020. It targets cases that underwent major surgeries and compares perioperative outcomes between users and non-users of antihypertensive medications, as well as by different combinations of medication use, while examining differences based on the type of surgery.
