本研究では、「日本多施設共同コーホート研究」（J-MICC研究）の千葉地区において、以下の3つのリマインダー手法の効果をランダム化比較実験（RCT）により検証し、回答率向上の有効性を評価する。
（１） リマインダーを送付しない（対照群）
（２） 督促はがきを送付
（３） 調査票を再送

本研究の目的は、日本の高齢者を対象とした郵送調査における回収率向上策を検討することで、科学的根拠に基づく健康政策の改善を図るとともに、国際的な疫学研究や公衆衛生政策の発展に貢献することである。

In this study, we will evaluate the effectiveness of three reminder methods in improving response rates through a randomized controlled trial (RCT) in the Chiba area of the "Japan Multi-Institutional Collaborative Cohort Study" (J-MICC Study):
(1) No reminder sent (control group)
(2) Reminder postcard sent
(3) Questionnaire redelivery

The purpose of this study is to examine strategies for improving collection rates in mail surveys targeting elderly Japanese populations, with the aim of enhancing evidence-based health policies and contributing to the development of international epidemiological research and public health policies.

千葉地区では、2024年9月18日に第3回健康調査を郵送にて実施した。本研究は、本研究の承認日に、調査票を未提出の者を対象とする。
