本研究の目的は、思春期女子生徒とその母親を対象に、がんの予防・早期発見のための啓発教育プログラムを実施し、その効果とプログラムの妥当性を検討することである。

介入内容は、「がんの予防・早期発見に関する情報提供」、「親子でのがん予防に関する話し合い」、「乳房セルフチェックの練習」の3部で構成されている。

① 中学生、高校生の思春期女子生徒およびその母親である者
② プログラムに親子で参加できる者
③ 女子生徒および母親のいずれもが過去にがん治療を受けていない者
④ 研究参加について、研究対象者本人と母親から文書による同意が得られる者

(i) Adolescent girls in junior high and high school and their mothers
(ii) Parents and their children are able to participate in the program
(iii) Neither the female student nor her mother has received cancer treatment in the past
(iv) Those who can obtain written consent for participation in the study from the subjects themselves and their mothers.
