本研究の目的は、免疫関連肺炎の予測と診断に関わる因子を解析し、モニタリングや診断精度の向上を目指すことである。免疫チェックポイント阻害薬の適応範囲が今後さらに拡大することが予想され、本研究で得られる知見は、将来的な癌診療において重要な役割を果たすと考えられる。

The objective of this study is to analyze factors involved in the prediction and diagnosis of immune-related pneumonia, aiming to improve monitoring and diagnostic accuracy. As the range of indications for immune checkpoint inhibitors is expected to expand further, the insights gained from this study are anticipated to play a significant role in future cancer treatment.

①後ろ向き観察研究：
浜松医科大学医学部附属病院で悪性腫瘍と診断され、2014年9月～2024年3月31日の期間に通常診療でICI治療を開始した患者。

②「肺がん患者における免疫チェックポイント阻害薬による肺障害の臨床的特徴に関する検討 (研究番号18-205)」「免疫チェックポイント阻害剤関連障害に対する6週間プレドニゾロン投与法：第II相試験 (研究番号19-037)」「胸部悪性腫瘍患者に対する免疫チェックポイント阻害薬関連肺臓炎の多施設共同前向き観察研究 (研究番号19-049)」の登録患者

1.Retrospective observational study:
Patients diagnosed with malignant tumors at Hamamatsu University Hospital who started immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy as part of routine clinical care between September 2014 and March 31, 2024.

2.Patients enrolled in one or more of the following studies:
Clinical Features and Outcomes of Pneumonitis related Anti-Programmed Death-1 therapy in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients (Study No. 18-205)

Six-week oral prednisolone therapy for immune-related pneumonitis: a single-arm phase II study (Study No. 19-037)

Immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated pneumonitis in patients with thoracic malignancy: Multicenter prospective observational study (Study No. 19-049)

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

・本研究への情報使用について本人または代理人から撤回・拒否があった者
・免疫関連肺臓炎を生じなかった症例で免疫チェックポイント阻害薬の投与が2コース以下の者

Patients (or their representatives) who have withdrawn or refused consent for the use of their information in this study.

Patients who did not develop immune-related pneumonitis (irP) and received two or fewer courses of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI).
