顔の全面にフェルラ酸処方品を塗布後、十分に洗い流してからクリームを塗布することを1日1回、12週間毎日実施する。

Subjects will apply ferulic acid formula to the entire face, then rinse off the product thoroughly and apply a cream, once a day for 12 weeks.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

・20歳代から５０歳代の男性。
・健康な者で、慢性身体疾患がない者。かつ、問診にてその旨が確認できるもの。
・薬効のある化粧品の使用を行っていないこと。
・本試験の目的、内容について十分な説明を受け、同意能力があり、よく理解した上で自発的に参加を志願し、書面で本試験参加に同意できる者。
・指定された検査日に来所でき、検査を受ける事のできる者。
・試験責任医師が本試験への参加を適当と認めた者。

Men between the ages of 20 and 60 years old.
Who can be confirmed good health and free from chrocic physical disease by medical interview.
Who not be using any cosmetics with medicinal effects.
Who have been fully informed of the purpose and content of the study, have the ability to consent, and be able to voluntarily agree to participate in the study in writing upon full understanding of the study.
Who be able to come to the laboratory on the designated examination date and be able to undergo the examination.
Who be approved participate in the study by investigator.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria
日本語
・現在、何らかの疾患を患い薬物治療を受けている者。
・皮膚炎などで重篤な皮膚疾患症状を有する者。
・試験期間中、日焼け行為など、故意に直射日光にあたる事を控えることができない者。
・試験の主要・副次的アウトカムに係る測定において統計的外れ値を示す者。
・アレルギー（医薬品・試験素材関連製品）がある者。
・現在、ならびに過去１ヶ月以内において肌改善効果を標榜した薬物の継続的な摂取習慣のある者、塗布習慣のある者。
・強力な効果を有する化粧品類を使用している者（試験責任医師が判断する）。
・その他、試験責任医師が本試験の対象として不適切と判断した者。

-Who show statistical outliers in measurements related to the primary and secondary outcomes of the study.
Who with allergies (to pharmaceuticals or products related to test materials).
-Who have a current or past habit of continuous ingestion or application of drugs claiming to improve the skin.
-Who use cosmetics that have a strong effect on the skin (the investigator will determine)
-Who are deemed inappropriate for this study by the investigator.

主な結果/Results
日本語
健康な成人女性24名に、フェルラ酸1％配合クリームとプラセボを半顔に12週間塗布し、4週ごとに評価を行いました。
フェルラ酸群は8週でメラニン指数が有意に減少し、12週目の質問票調査では茶色っぽいくすみ、うるおい、暗いくすみ、黄色っぽいくすみ、更に肌全体くすみ、肌の透明感に有意な改善が認められました。

Twenty-four healthy adult women applied a cream containing 1% ferulic acid and a placebo to half-face for 12 weeks and were evaluated every 4 weeks.
The ferulic acid group showed a significant decrease in melanin index at 8 weeks, and a questionnaire survey at 12 weeks showed significant improvement brownish dullness, moisture, dark dullness, yellowish dullness, skin dullness, and skin translucency.
