① 医薬品を服用している者
② 唾液中の (総)ミュータンスレンサ球菌が著しく少ない者 (103 CFU/ml以下の者)
③ 10歯以上にわたる補綴物を有するもの
④ 遵守事項を守れないもの
⑤ その他、研究責任者、研究分担者が研究対象者として不適当と判断したもの

2. The number of mutans streptococci in unstimulated whole saliva samples obtained at the initial examination is less than 103 cfu/ml.
3. Fully crowns or restored abutments from excluded from determination of total number of teeth.
