本研究の目的は、内視鏡外科手術における、技術評価の客観的指標を構築することである。多施設の腹腔鏡手術の手術動画を用いて、人工知能による要素技術を導入することにより、客観的な評価指標の構築を目指す。

下記3点を満たすものとする。
① 結腸直腸切除術もしくは胃切除術、胆嚢摘出術、子宮全摘術を行っている。
② 手術動画および患者情報を用いることに関して、患者本人から文書同意が得られている。
③ 動画の二次利用に関して、患者本人および申請施設および申請者より文書同意が得られている。

The following three points must be met.
1. The surgery involves a colon/rectal resection, gastrectomy, cholecystectomy, or total hysterectomy.
2. The patient has given written consent for the use of the surgical video and patient information.
3. The patient, the applying institution, and the applicant have given written consent for the secondary use of the video.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

本研究は、多施設での非介入かつ非侵襲の観察研究である。本研究は、国立がん研究センター東病院、名古屋市立大学、大分大学、千葉大学、東京大学および、北海道大学、虎の門病院（虎の門病院は2023年3月31まで）の共同研究であり、共同研究契約を締結し、各学会の技術認定審査に提出された手術動画、審査結果および審査申請書類、及び日本内視鏡外科学会もしくは日本産科婦人科内視鏡学会以外の既存情報の提供のみを行う機関、国立がん研究センター東病院、共同研究施設から提供された手術動画及び症例情報を用いて、AI自動技術評価システムの構築を行う。国立がん研究センター東病院は、研究の統括およびデータの拡充、自動技術評価のための評価項目の検討、国立がん研究センター東病院および千葉大学はAI自動技術評価システムの構築、名古屋市立大学、東京大学、千葉大学、虎の門病院および大分大学(虎の門病院は2023年3月31まで）は各学会との連携構築および各学会からのデータ収集、北海道大学は自動技術評価のための評価項目の検討を行う。各施設が役割分担を果たすことで、最終的な成果物であるAI自動技術評価システムを構築する。

This study is a multicenter, non-interventional, non-invasive observational study. This study is a collaborative research project between the National Cancer Center Hospital East, Nagoya City University, Oita University, Chiba University, the University of Tokyo, Hokkaido University, and Toranomon Hospital (Toranomon Hospital will participate until March 31, 2023), and a joint research agreement has been concluded. , and the National Cancer Center Hospital East, which is an institution that only provides surgical videos, examination results and examination application documents submitted to the technical certification examination of each academic society, and existing information other than that of the Japanese Society of Endoscopic Surgery or the Japanese Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy, will use surgical videos and case information provided by the collaborative research facilities to construct an AI automated technical evaluation system. The National Cancer Center Hospital East will oversee the research and expand the data, consider evaluation items for automated technology evaluation, and the National Cancer Center Hospital East and Chiba University will build the AI automated technology evaluation system. Nagoya City University, the University of Tokyo, Chiba University , Toranomon Hospital, and Oita University (Toranomon Hospital until March 31, 2023) will build partnerships with academic societies and collect data from them, and Hokkaido University will examine evaluation items for automated technology evaluation. By fulfilling their respective roles, each facility will build the final deliverable, the AI automated technology evaluation system.
