我が国においては、PONV対策に関するガイドラインは存在せず、加えてConsensus guidelines for the management of postoperative nausea and vomiting（以下、ガイドライン）で推奨される制吐薬は医療機関等で保険診療に用いられる医療用医薬品以外が多く、PONVに対する十分な対応がなされていないことが予測される。近年では、ガイドラインの存在やenhanced recovery after surgeryの観点から麻酔科医を中心にPONV対策が講じられているが、看護職の認知度は低い可能性があり、その実態は明らかとなっていない。本研究は術後悪心嘔吐（postoperative nausea and vomiting：PONV）に関する看護師の認知の実態を明らかにすることである。

In Japan, there are no guidelines for PONV control, and the antiemetic drugs recommended in the Consensus guidelines for the management of postoperative nausea and vomiting; the guidelines, are often different from the ethical drugs used by medical institutions for insured treatment. Furthermore, many of the antiemetic drugs recommended in the guidelines are not ethical drugs used by medical institutions for medical treatment. In recent years, measures against PONV have mainly been taken by anesthesiologists in consideration of the guidelines and enhanced recovery after surgery; however, the awareness of the nursing staff may be low, and the actual situation is unclear. The purpose of this study was to clarify the actual status of nurses' awareness of PONV.
