本研究では、東京電力福島第一原子力発電所事故により被災した高齢者を対象に、運動習慣の維持・向上と心身の健康増進を目的とした「忍者エッセンス絵本」の実現可能性を検討した。

Aグループの参加者は家で絵本を利用して運動をするようにした。忍者の絵本は、7ページで構成され、7色のプッシュボタンを押すことで、20種類のエクササイズを行うことができる。 参加者が各ページに表示されたボタンを押すと、それぞれの運動の指示を音声で聞くことができる。 ボタンを押すと音声が止まり、もう一度押すと、次のページの運動の指示が始まる。2か月間の介入

避難指示が解除された地域または福島県内の評価対象地域に居住している方

Person who experienced evacuation due to the Fukushima nNuclear disaster regardless of whether or not return to the area
Person who is living in an area where the evacuation order had beenwas lifted or an area evaluated within Fukushima Prefecture.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

重度の認知障害がある者、この本を読むことで危険な行動をとる危険性がある者、試験の指示を理解できない者は除外した。

主な結果/Results

前後の変化の結果は、記述統計学、フィッシャーの正確検定、t検定を用いて分析した。両群とも、左右の握力に有意差が認められた。定期的に運動を行っている群では、最大発音時間に有意差が認められた。嚥下運動、歌や言葉の練習に関する質問で有意なp値が認められた（p<0.013、p<0.033有意）。参加者29人のうち16人が、プログラムが楽しかったと報告した。

参加者の平均年齢は77歳（SD 7.618）と82歳（SD = 7.014）で、帰国者は男性6名、女性15名、避難者は男性2名、女性5名であった。参加者29名のうち、参加者は自己申告で診断された疾患に回答した。両群とも腰痛が最も高かった（それぞれ24％、50％）。

The average age of the participants was 77 (SD 7.618) and 82 (SD = 7.014) years, with 6 males and 15 females in returnees and 2 males and 5 females in evacuees. Of 29 participants, participants answered self-reported diagnosed diseases. Back pain was the highest rate in both groups (24% and 50%, respectively).
