日本語
誤嚥性肺炎の主要な原因は、微生物を含んだ唾液などの誤嚥であり、誤嚥する微生物の量が多くなると発症のリスクは高くなる。そのため、唾液中の微生物数を減少させることを目的に、ブラッシングを中心とした口腔管理が広く行われているが、ブラッシングを行うと歯垢が口腔内に落下するため、ブラッシング中の唾液中の細菌数は著しく増加する。そのため、誤嚥性肺炎リスクの高い患者対し、唾液中細菌数を増加させないブラッシングについて検討を行うことを目的とし、水、保湿ジェル、ポビドンヨード含有含嗽剤、ポビドンヨード含有ゲルを用いたブラッシング方法について検討を行う。

The main cause of aspiration pneumonia is aspiration of saliva-containing bacteria, and the risk of developing the disease increases with the number of bacteria aspirated. Therefore, oral management centered on brushing is widely practiced to reduce the number of bacteria in saliva, but brushing causes plaque to fall into the mouth, which significantly increases the number of bacteria in saliva during brushing. Therefore, brushing methods using water, moisturizing gel, povidone-iodine-containing mouthwash, and povidone-iodine-containing gel are investigated for patients at high risk of aspiration pneumonia, to investigate brushing methods that do not increase the number of bacteria in saliva.
