鰓弓症候群の顎顔面の縦断的検査による3次元形態解析を行うことにより、その顎顔面成長予測と顎矯正治療および外科手術の適応について判断することで、個々の患者の顎顔面成長に準じた治療計画の立案を目的とする。

By performing 3D morphological analysis through longitudinal examination of the maxillofacial area of patients with Hemifacial microsomia, we can predict the maxillofacial growth and determine the suitability of orthopedic orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery, and plan treatment according to the maxillofacial growth of each individual patient.

鰓弓症候群患者の顎顔面左右非対称に対する顎矯正歯科治療および形成外科治療の至適時期が、各患者毎に異なることを、臨床の治療において経験したことが要因である。

This is because we have experienced in clinical treatment that the optimal timing for orthodontic treatment and plastic surgery treatment for maxillofacial asymmetry in patients with Hemifacial microsomia differs for each patient.
