最終的に19件が採用された。そのうち、他職種の中で実践されているリハビリテーション看護について言及した文献が15件、脳腫瘍患者に対する看護の一つとしてリハビリテーションについて言及した文献が4件であった。具体的には、情報収集と整理、リハビリテーションの継続に向けた意味付け、二次的な合併症の予防と管理、家族への対応、他職種との連携に分類された。リハビリテーション看護における現在の課題として、効果測定のための研究が少ないこと、看護師個人の知識や技術の不足、リハビリテーション看護分野の専門性の未発達が指摘されていた。
