呼吸活動を支える呼吸筋を運動中に負荷するトレーニングを行うことで、運動能力、運動中の呼吸応答と呼吸筋組織酸素化レベル、および呼吸調節機能が変化するかについて検討する。

参加者は、週に 4 回の自転車エルゴメーター運動トレーニングの4 週間の介入を受ける。 1回のセッションは 20 分間、最大強度の 60% で実行される。運動中、参加者は最大吸気負荷の 50% に設定された吸気負荷装置( PowerBreathe)を通じて呼吸する。

Participants will undergo a 4-week intervention, consisting of bicycle ergometer exercise sessions four times per week. Each session will last 20 minutes, performed at 60% of maximal intensity. During the exercise, participants will breathe through a PowerBreathe device set to 50% of their maximal inspiratory load.

呼吸器疾患、心臓循環器疾患の既往症のある者、喫煙者

Exclusion criteria include individuals with a history of respiratory or cardiovascular diseases, and smokers.
