本研究の目的は、看護・介護スタッフにいて、夜勤仮眠時の眼周囲温熱刺激が、仮眠の入眠を促し仮眠の質を向上させるかどうかを検証することである。

The purpose of this study was to test whether periocular thermal stimulation during night shift naps promotes nap onset and improves nap quality in nursing and caregiving staff.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria
日本語
①20～60歳、②回復期リハビリテーション病棟で勤務する看護・介護スタッフ、③１年以上同じ部署で夜勤に従事している、④１か月に2回以上夜勤に従事している

(1) 20-60 years old, (2) nursing/caregiving staff working in a convalescent ward, (3) engaged in night shift in the same department for more than 1 year, (4) engaged in night shift more than 2 times per month.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria
日本語
①夜勤専従、②睡眠薬を内服している、③睡眠障害がある、④閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸症候群（OSA）と診断されている、⑤普段寝酒をしている、⑥妊娠している、⑦月経前症候群（PMS）と診断されている、⑧普段夜勤で仮眠をとらない、⑨温熱に敏感、⑩目や目の周囲に疾患、炎症、傷、腫れがある

(1) Night shift, (2) taking sleeping pills, (3) having sleep disorder, (4) diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), (5) usually sleepwalking, (6) pregnant, (7) diagnosed with premenstrual syndrome (PMS), (8) usually working night shifts and not taking a nap, (9) heat sensitive, (10) disease, inflammation, scar or swelling in the eyes or eye area.
