本研究の目的は、患者および正常者の腸内細菌叢および自己網膜抗体の状態と、眼疾患の発症、進行、重症度の関連を検討し、眼疾患への影響を明らかにすることである。

2） 腸内細菌叢や自己網膜抗体の状態と眼疾患との関連を明らかにすることにより、腸内細菌叢の修飾や、自己網膜抗体による炎症の抑制を介した疾患進行の抑制、という新たな治療法の開発につながる可能性があると考えられ、医学的意義は大きい。

By elucidating the relationship between the status of the gut microbiota, auto-retinal antibodies, and eye diseases, there is potential for the development of novel therapeutic approaches that involve modifying the gut microbiota and suppressing disease progression through the inhibition of inflammation by auto-retinal antibodies. This could have significant medical implications.

京都大学医学部附属病院眼科に受診した自己免疫や炎症が病態として考えられる眼疾患患者、および正常ボランティア

Patients with ocular diseases where autoimmune or inflammatory mechanisms are considered, who visited the Department of Ophthalmology, Kyoto University Hospital, and normal volunteers.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
腸内細菌叢解析においては、糞便採取日より一か月以内に抗菌薬、抗ウイルス薬、免疫抑制薬、ステロイドの全身投与を受けている患者

Patients who have received systemic administration of antibiotics, antiviral drugs, immunosuppressants, or steroids within one month prior to fecal sample collection for gut microbiota analysis.
