We evaluate the ultrasonographic assessment of distance of forward movement of mandibular condyle during upper lip bite test and observe the influence on intubation difficulty.

ASA分類1-3で18-90歳の、全身麻酔下に気管挿管を行う症例。

We enrolled patients who undergo elective surgeries with endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia and are of ASA physical status 1-3 and 18-90 years of age.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
全入れ歯、下顎骨折、協力が得られない症例。

英語
We exclude patients with no teeth, with maxillofacial injuries, inability to cooperate.

The purpose of this research is to observe the correlation between temporomandibular joint mobility during upper bite test and other valuable predictive indicators of difficult laryngoscopy, and to calculate the predictive value of temporomandibular joint mobility. We evaluated the maximum movement of temporomandibular joint during upper bite test with ultrasound.
