本研究では、労働者の身体活動を促進することを通じて抑うつ・不安を予防することを目的として開発されたスマートフォンアプリケーション「ASHARE」の効果検証と実装のハイブリッド研究を行うことを目的とする。
適格基準を満たした労働者を対象に、3ヶ月間の介入プログラムを提供する。事業場単位で参加を募集し、研究参加登録を行ったのち、事前調査を行う。事業場のうち半数をアプリケーション利用群、もう半数を既存の介入プログラムを適用する対照群に割り付ける。プログラムの提供後 (3ヶ月後) に質問紙による調査を行い、評価項目の比較を行う。事業場の健康増進担当者にも介入プログラムに対する許容性、適切性、および実施可能性の評価を依頼する。

The present study aims to conduct a hybrid study that examines the effects of a smartphone application "ASHARE" on physical activity, depression and anxiety, and implementation outcomes among workers.
A three-month intervention program will be provided to workers who meet eligibility criteria. Participants will be solicited at each workplace, and a baseline survey will be conducted after enrollment. Half of the workplaces will be assigned to the intervention group, and the other half will be assigned to the control group as a treatment as usual, which will offer face-to-face intervention programs. A follow-up survey will be conducted after the interventions (3 months later). Acceptability, appropriateness, and feasibility of the intervention programs will also be measured by the workplace health promotion personnel.

スマートフォンアプリケーション「ASHARE」の使用
介入群に割り付けられた事業場の参加者には、スマートフォンアプリケーションをインストールしてもらい、3ヶ月間使用してもらう。アプリケーションは以下の機能を持つ。1) 利用者の翌日の抑うつ気分の予測・モニタリング2) 予測結果の通知と身体活動のためのアドバイス、3) 利用者間の活動パターンの参照。

Use of the smartphone application "ASHARE"
The participants who belong to workplaces assigned to the intervention group will be asked to install and use the smartphone application for 3 months. The application has the following functions. 1) prediction and monitoring of users' depressed mood for the next day, 2) notification of prediction results and advice for physical activity, and 3) reference of activity patterns among users.

従来から行われている対面の身体活動促進プログラム
対照群に割り付けられた事業場では、先行研究 (Watanabe et al., 2018, Int J Behav Med) において身体活動促進の効果が認められている、職場環境の調整を含む複数の手法を組み合わせたプログラムを3ヶ月間提供する。このプログラムは、事業所長による方針設定・宣言、情報発信、活動量を競うコンペティション、心理教育といった複数の環境調整の手法を含む。

A face-to-face physical activity promotion program as a treatment as usual
Workplaces assigned to the control group will receive a program that combines multiple methods to improve work environments for 3 months. The effectiveness of the program in promoting physical activity was confirmed in the previous study (Watanabe et al., 2018, Int J Behav Med). This program includes multiple environmental adjustment methods such as policy-making and declaration, notifications provided on intrawebsite/electronic bulletin board systems, Individual competition of physical activity within the worksite, and Psychological education to increase self-regulation for physical activity.

2) 日本語で記載された調査票に回答することができる
3) 私的利用のためのスマートフォンを所持している

＜事業場の健康増進担当者＞
協力する事業場に勤務する労働者のうち、以下に該当する者から代表者を1名選定する。
1) 人事労務、総務、あるいは健康管理を担当している者
2) 厚生労働省が策定した「労働者の心の健康の保持増進のための指針」において規定されている、事業場内メンタルヘルス推進担当者

1) workers over 18 years old
2) can answer questionnaires written in Japanese
3) can use their private smartphone on off-duty to access the intervention programs

Inclusion criteria for the workplace health promotion personnel.
A representative will be selected from among the workers who meet the following criteria:
1) a worker in charge of human resources, labor affairs, general affairs, or health management
2) a worker in charge of promoting mental health in the workplace according to the guidelines by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, Japan.
