本研究では、症例ごとのENEの進展範囲および転移リンパ節の腫瘍が占拠する状態について解析し、臨床病理学的因子および予後との関連性及び頸部リンパ節の節外浸潤のメカニズムを明らかにすることを目的とする。

In this study, we analyzed the extent of ENE progression and the tumor-occupied status of metastatic lymph nodes in each case, and clarified the relationship between clinicopathological factors and prognosis and the mechanism of extranodal invasion of cervical lymph nodes.

① 2004年1月1日から2022年3月31日までに長崎大学病院口腔外科で口腔扁平上皮癌の治療を行った症例
② 病理組織学的に扁平上皮癌であること。
③ 病理組織学的に転移リンパ節（節外浸潤あり、節外浸潤なし）を認めること。
④ 初回治療で原発巣切除および頸部郭清術を施行した症例。

1. Cases treated for oral squamous cell carcinoma at Nagasaki University Hospital Oral and Oral Surgery from January 1, 2004 to March 31, 2022
2. Histopathologically it is squamous cell carcinoma.
3. Histopathological findings include metastatic lymph nodes (with or without extranodal invasion).
4. Cases in which primary tumor resection and neck dissection were performed as initial treatment.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

① 術前化学療法を行った症例。
② 診療情報録から治療内容、病理組織学的所見および予後に関する情報が得られない症例。

1. Cases treated with preoperative chemotherapy.
2. Cases in which information on treatment details, histopathological findings, and prognosis cannot be obtained from medical records.
