サルコペニアはあらゆる疾患と密接な関連がある。大腸癌患者における術前の骨格筋量と術後補助化学療法の効果・安全性を探索的に検討し、治療導入の指標とする。

Sarcopenia is closely related to all diseases. We will exploratory examine preoperative skeletal muscle mass and the efficacy and safety of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in colorectal cancer patients, and use it as an index for the introduction of treatment.

①島根大学医学部附属病院 消化器・総合外科において、2015年1月1日から2022年12月31日の間に大腸癌（結腸・直腸の腺がん）に対して切除手術を行った患者
②大腸がん診療ガイドラインにおける術後補助化学療法の適応に該当する患者

1.Patients who underwent resection surgery for colorectal cancer (adenocarcinoma of the colon and rectum) between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2022 at the Department of Gastroenterology and General Surgery, Shimane University Hospital.
2.Patients who are eligible for postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy according to the colorectal cancer treatment guidelines
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

①術前にCTが撮影されていない患者
②術後補助化学療法を他院で実施している患者
③オプトアウトで研究対象者もしくは家族から診療情報利用の拒否をうけた患者
④重複がんを有する症例

1.Patients without preoperative CT scan
2.Patients undergoing postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy at another hospital
3.Patients who have opted out and have been refused access to medical information by research subjects or their familiy
4.Patients with multiple cancers
