日本語
皮膚カロテノイドレベル・野菜摂取量と関連を示すバリアントは確認できなかったが、血中カロテノイド濃度と関連を示すバリアントが複数確認できた。これらのバリアントには、ミトコンドリア機能やHDLコレステロール量の制御に関連する遺伝子上の変異が含まれており、カロテノイド濃度を制御するメカニズムが示唆された。

We found some variants correlated to serum carotenoid concentration. The genes in which some of these variants are located were reported to regulate mitochondrial function or high-density lipoprotein cholesterol amount, suggesting the mechanism of controlling serum carotenoid concentrations.
