研究期間中に各研究協力機関が定めた特定の期間に研究協力医療機関を受診した患者を対象とし、選択基準を全て満たした者
①研究協力医療機関に受診した者（初診･再審、受診理由、疾病は問わない）
②本研究内容を説明した後に本人の自由意思に基づき本研究への協力に関する同意が得られた者

(1) Those who visited the research collaborating medical institution (regardless of whether it was the first visit or a retrial, the reason for the visit, or the disease)
(2) Those who have given their consent to cooperate in this research of their own free will after the content of this research has been explained to them.

本邦における足白癬・爪白癬の潜在罹患率は、足白癬13.7%（男性18.9%、女性9.6%）、爪白癬7.9%（男性10.6%、女性5.8%）、足白癬または爪白癬のどちらかに罹患している潜在患者は16.6%（男性22.3%、女性12.2%）であると推定された。

協力医療機関は4-5月の間に受診した患者を対象に、通常の診療うと合わせて足の健康調査(foot-check)の希望を確認し、足の健康調査を希望した患者を対象に足の健康状態を調査する。
