日本語
80歳以上の大腿骨近位部骨折術後患者を対象に、認知機能（Mini-mental state examination）が術後早期（3週）の排泄動作自立の可否を予測する因子となりうるか分析し、検討する。

To analyze and examine whether cognitive function(Mini-mental state examination) can be a predictor of early postoperative (3 weeks) toileting independence in postoperative patients over 80 years of age after proximal femur fracture surgery.

術後3週の排泄動作が自立した群と自立しなかった群の入院時のMMSEの点数を比較し、認知機能が術後の早期排泄動作自立の獲得に影響を及ぼすか調査をすることを目的とする。

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether cognitive function influences the early acquisition of postoperative toileting independence by comparing the MMSE scores of the groups with and without toileting independence at 3 weeks postoperatively.

下記主要評価項目を含む独立変数が従属変数に影響を及ぼすか多変量解析にて分析する。
従属変数：術後3週の病棟トイレでの排泄動作自立の可否
独立変数：MMSE（主要評価項目）、
　　　　　被験者背景、受傷前身体機能（副次評価項目）

A multivariate analysis will be performed to determine whether the independent variables, including the following primary endpoints, affect the dependent variable.
Dependent Variables:Independence of toileting in the hospital's toilet at 3 weeks postoperatively.
Independent Variables:MMSE (primary endpoint),
Subject background, pre-injury physical function (secondary endpoints).

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

2021年8月1日～2022年8月31日までの期間に相澤病院を受診し、手術を受けた80歳以上の大腿骨近位部骨折患者。

Proximal femur fracture patients aged 80 years or older who visited Aizawa Hospital and underwent surgery between August 1, 2021 and August 31, 2022.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
①　骨折前の排泄動作に介助を要していた者
②　患者の骨折前のADLの状態を家族・支援者・本人から聴取不能の者

英語
1. Persons who required assistance with toileting prior to the injury.
2. Persons who cannot be interviewed by family members, supporters, or the individual about their cognitive function prior to the injury.
