重症病棟におけるバイタルサインデータから算出される早期警戒スコアの妥当性，有用性は明らかでない。本研究では重症患者においてバイタルサインデータから算出されるスコアによる臨床イベント発生の予測精度について検討する。

対象患者のバイタルサインデータからスコアを算出し，スコアの平均値・最大値・変動値，アラートの発生頻度，アラートの発生から臨床イベント・持続性低血圧が発生するまでの時間，生体情報モニタアラームの発生頻度、VSI・PCIアラートとの関連（頻度差、時間差）を算出，計測する。
対象患者の診療録から年齢，性別，身長，体重，Body mass index，診断名，併存疾患名，既往歴，術式（術後症例において），SOFAスコア，人工呼吸器使用の有無、酸素投与の有無，循環作動薬投与の有無および投与量，バイタルサインデータ、入室中の総水分バ
ランス，臨床イベント（死亡，心肺停止，再手術，ICU入室，気管挿管・人工呼吸の開始，NPPVの開始，腎代替療法の開始，循環作動薬の開始，機械的補助循環の開始）の発生の有無，頻度，持続性低血圧の発生の有無，頻度，ICU・HCUの在室期間，転帰などの情報を入手する

The score is calculated from the vital sign data of the enrolled patients, and the mean, maximum, and fluctuating values of the score, the frequency of alert occurrence, and the time between the occurrence of an alert and the occurrence of a clinical event or sustained hypotension are calculated and measured. Alert occurrence and its frequency are measured assuming that both score measuring devices are equipped.
