回復期リハビリテーション病院入院時の簡単な2つの身体所見（手指の伸展と肩の外転）から、入院3か月後麻痺側上肢の実用性をどのぐらい予測できるかを調べること。

The aim of the present study is to determine if outcome in terms of upper limb function (ie, action research arm test: ARAT>=10) at 3 months after admission can be predicted in an inpatient rehabilitation facility using only two clinical parameters (ie, finger extension /shoulder abduction) measured at admission.

40歳以上、初発の脳卒中、脳出血または脳梗塞と診断、単麻痺または片麻痺、発症前のADLが自立していた、適正な評価の妨げとなるほどの重度のコミュニケーション、記憶、または理解についての障害がない、書面での説明と同意がある、入院期間3か月以上、入院時のARATが10点未満。

この研究は前向きコホート研究である。2023年7月から2027年6月にかけて、日本の入院リハビリテーション施設（阪神リハビリテーション病院）から入院時の患肢ARATが10点未満の脳卒中患者を連続的に募集する。登録患者数が十分でない場合は、募集期間を延長する可能性がある。アウトカム指標は、入院時の患肢の肩外転と指伸展と3ヶ月後のARATとする。

This is a prospective cohort study. From July 2023 to June 2027, Stroke patients whose affected limb ARAT < 10 on admission are consecutively recruited from an inpatient rehabilitation facility (Hanshin Rehabilitation Hospital) in Japan. Duration of recruitment would be prolonged, if the number of registered patients are not many enough. Outcome measures are an affected limb shoulder abduction and finger extension on admission and ARAT after 3 months.
