健常者と2型糖尿病またはメタボリックシンドロームの患者を対象に血中・尿中イソキサントプテリンを測定し、2型糖尿病をはじめとする内分泌代謝疾患の病態把握に有効で新たな臨床検査指標としての臨床的意義を探索する。

The aim of our study is to measure isoxanthopterin in serum and urine in healthy volunteer, type 2 diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome and to explore new biomarker for oxidative stress which effective in understanding the pathology with endocrine and metabolic disease like that type 2 diabetes mellitus.

大学病院、研究協力機関に通院している肥満症、2型糖尿病とメタボリックシンドロームの患者、ボランティア募集した基準をみたす健常者。

Obese, type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome patients who are currently attending the University of the Ryukyus Hospital and affiliated hospital and healthy volunteer.

本研究のデザインは横断的であり、対象者は研究機関の長の倫理審査許可日～2024年 3月 31日の期間で琉球大学附属病院と関連施設に受診した患者で選択基準に合致した全員とした。また健常者はボランティア募集をし適格基準を満たした者とした。血中尿中IXPを、健常者と2型糖尿病またはメタボリックシンドローム患者間で比較し、将来的には尿中IXPが酸化ストレスの進展度の予想ツールとして、または治療効果の判断に役立てるのが目的である。

The participants in the present study meet the criteria and in the University of the Ryukyus Hospital and related facilities during the period from the respective date of ethical review approval by the Ethics Committee of University of the Ryukyus for Medical and Health Research Involving Human Subjects to March 31, 2024. We aim to measure and compare isoxanthopterin in serum and urine in healthy volunteer, type 2 diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome and to use for biomarker forecasting increse of oxidative strss and observe therapeutic effect.
