アジア太平洋地域は世界的に見ても肝炎・肝癌(HCC)の発症率が高いことで知られている。同地域各国のHCCの発症及び治療実態、またその背景となるウイルス性・非ウイルス性肝炎の状況を把握し、各国の保健衛生・医療上の問題点を深く検証する。

The Asia-Pacific region is known for its high incidence of hepatitis and liver cancer (HCC) worldwide. This study will examine the actual incidence and treatment of HCC in the countries of the region, as well as the background of viral and non-viral hepatitis, and examine in depth the health and medical issues in each country.
