新しい人工鼻(Provox LifeTM Home HME)と既存の人工鼻をそれぞれ6週間装着し、咳の回数や痰の性状などについてのアンケートに回答してもらう

Patients wear the new a heat and moisture exchanger (Provox LifeTM Home HME) and the existing a heat and moisture exchanger for 6 weeks each and complete a questionnaire about the frequency of coughing and the properties of sputum.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1. 喉頭全摘術・永久気管孔形成を受けた患者
2.18歳以上
3.喉頭全摘術施行より3ヵ月以上が経過している患者
4.術後放射線療法終了より6週間以上経過している患者
5.Provox LifeTM Home HME以外の人工鼻を3ヵ月以上使用中の患者
6.Provox LifeTM Home HMEができると臨床的に判断される患者
7.研究対象者本人より文書による同意を得られた患者

1. patients who have undergone total laryngectomy
2. 18 years of age or older
3. more than 3 months after total laryngectomy
4. more than 6 weeks after completion of postoperative radiation therapy
5. Patients who have been using a heat and moisture exchanger other than Provox LifeTM Home HME for more than 3 months.
6. Patients who are clinically judged to be eligible for Provox LifeTM Home HME.
7. Patients who have given written consent to the study

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1.本研究開始以前に人工鼻を1度も使用したことがない患者
2.自己で人工鼻の着脱ができない患者
3.腫瘍の再発や転移病変のある患者
4.1ヵ月以内に肺感染症に罹患もしくはCOPDなど呼吸器疾患の増悪があった患者
5.認知機能低下などによりアンケートや同意書の内容を理解できない患者
6.当研究にエントリー前の1か月間に鎮咳薬や去痰薬の用法用量を変えた患者
7.人工鼻装着部位に治療を要するような皮膚障害のある患者

英語
1.Patients who have never used a heat and moisture exchanger before the start of this study
2. Patients who cannot put on and take off a heat and moisture exchanger by themselves
3. Patients with recurrent tumor or metastatic disease
4. Patients with pulmonary infection or exacerbation of respiratory disease such as COPD within one month.
5. Patients who are unable to understand the questionnaire or consent form due to cognitive decline.
6. Patients who have changed the dosage of cough suppressants or expectorants within one month prior to entry into the study.
7. Patients with skin disorders requiring treatment at the site of a heat and moisture exchanger
