対照群と比較して、介入群では 積極的疫学調査（PEI） に関連する技能、知識、および学習成果全体において有意な向上が認められた。また、COVID-19のリスク要因やPEIの方法を含む主要な項目に対する理解が向上し、さらに学習への自信と満足度も有意に高かった。

Compared to the control group, the intervention group demonstrated significant improvements in skills, knowledge, and overall learning outcomes related to PEI. They also demonstrated an enhanced understanding of key areas, including COVID-19risk factors and PEI methods, along with significantly higher levels of satisfaction and self-confidence in learning.

本研究では、日本の保健師課程（PHNコース）に在籍する看護系大学3・4年生を便宜的サンプリング（convenience sampling）により対象とした。

We used a convenience sample of third- and fourth-year nursing university students enrolled in PHN courses in Japan because they represent the prelicensure phase, where foundational skills for public health practice, including PEI, are developed.
参加者の流れ/Participant flow

保健師教育課程を提供している大学の教員には、研究者の専門的ネットワークを通じて個別に連絡を取った。まず、研究への参加依頼を大学の学科長に送付した。協力の同意が得られた場合、保健師課程の教員が対象学生に研究の情報を共有した。研究への参加を希望する学生は、オンラインで参加登録を行った。計画されたサンプル数に達するまで、追加の大学から学生を募集した。参加は任意であり、学業評価とは無関係であった。

Faculty members at universities offering PHN programs were contacted individually through the researchers' professional networks. A request for participation in the study was first sent to the university department heads. If they agreed to cooperate, information about the study was shared with eligible students by PHN faculty members. Interested students registered online to participate in the study. Students were recruited from additional universities until the planned sample size was reached. Participation was voluntary and unrelated to academic evaluation.
