【背景】
頚椎手術の患者では、気道管理が困難であることがあり、気管挿管には高い技術が必要とされます。ビデオ喉頭鏡は、気管挿管において高い成功率を示しており、これらの装置を使用することにより、気管挿管の困難さを克服できる可能性があります。
【方法】
本研究は、頚椎手術を受ける予定の患者を対象に、AceScopeとMcGrathの2つのビデオ喉頭鏡を用いたランダム化比較試験を行います。主要アウトカムは気管挿管成功率、気管挿管時間、試行回数、失敗率です。
【予想される成果】
AceScopeおよびMcGrathの比較により、頚椎手術患者における気道確保に最適なビデオ喉頭鏡を特定することができると考えられます。本研究の成果は、気道確保における最適な装置選択に役立つことが期待されます。

[Background.
Airway management can be difficult in patients undergoing cervical spine surgery, and tracheal intubation requires a high degree of skill. Video laryngoscopes have shown a high success rate in tracheal intubation, and the use of these devices may overcome the difficulties of tracheal intubation.
[Methods.
This study will be a randomized, controlled trial of two videolaryngoscopes, AceScope and McGrath, in patients scheduled to undergo cervical spine surgery. The primary outcomes are tracheal intubation success rate, tracheal intubation time, number of attempts, and failure rate.
[Anticipated outcomes.
Comparison of the AceScope and McGrath will identify the optimal videolaryngoscope for airway provision in cervical spine surgery patients. The results of this study are expected to be useful in selecting the optimal device for airway clearance.
