A systematic search will be conducted using the following databases and search terms, and three independent reviewers will be conducted a screening and extracted data. Arbitration will be conducted by a third reviewer as needed.

Patients
Acquired von Willebrand syndrome (AVWS) patient under (or after) veno-venous or veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. They receive any treatment.
Concept
We will review the existing literature on the etiology, laboratory test, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of ACWS.
Context
we will not limit the context to cultural factors such as geographic location, specific racial or gender or age or particular settings such as acute care, primary health care or the community.
