A total of 417 postpartum women had their EPDS measured either at 2 weeks or 4 weeks postpartum. Specifically, 408 cases had their EPDS measured at 2 weeks postpartum, and 412 cases had their EPDS measured at 4 weeks postpartum.

調査項目は母体背景3項目（35歳以上、精神疾患の既往あり、夫以外のサポートなし）、産科的背景8項目（妊娠分娩歴、妊娠37週未満、産科的合併症あり、多胎妊娠、帝王切開術、分娩時異常出血、麻酔方法、集中治療室入室あり）、新生児背景3項目（児体重、新生児集中治療室入室あり、胎児異常あり）とした。

The survey items included three maternal background factors (age 35 or older, history of mental illness, no support other than husband), eight obstetric background factors (pregnancy and delivery history, gestational age less than 37 weeks, obstetric complications, multiple pregnancy, cesarean section, abnormal bleeding during delivery, anesthesia method, admission to intensive care unit), and three neonatal background factors (infant weight, admission to neonatal intensive care unit, fetal abnormalities).
