目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
PET製剤であるフルオロボロノフェニルアラニン（F-18 FBPA）を静脈内投与しPET装置で撮像することにより、画像上の集積程度から頭頸部がんのL型アミノ酸トランスポーター1（LAT1）の発現を推定し、日常診療で実施するF-18 FDG-PETにおけるF-18 FDGの集積程度と比較する。

To estimate the expression of L-type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1) in head and neck cancer from the degree of accumulation on the FBPA-PET image and compare with the degree of accumulation on the FDG-PET image.

主要アウトカム評価項目/Primary outcomes

PET/CTを用いて全身の放射能分布を測定し、F-18 FBPAの頭頸部がんへの集積程度を定量的に評価し、F-18 FDGの集積程度と比較する。

The whole body distribution is evaluated using PET/CT. The FBPA uptake in head and neck cancer is quantitatively measured and compared with the FDG uptake.

頭頸部がんと診断されており、手術を実施予定の患者、または放射線治療後の患者を対象とする。また、日常診療の中でFDG-PETが実施済み、または実施予定で、本人により本研究の参加について文書による同意が得られている患者を対象とする。

This study includes patients who have been diagnosed with head and neck cancer and will be scheduled for surgery or have received radiotherapy. In addition, patients who have undergone or will undergo FDG-PET and have given written consent to participate in this study are included.
