選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

① 2008年4月1日から2021年10月31日までの期間に長崎大学病院口腔外科において骨格性下顎前突症例に対し下顎骨単独手術を行い、手術前(T1)、 術後3±2日(T2)、および術後12±3か月後(T3)の頭部規格X線写真が揃った患者。
② 年齢：不問
③ 性別：不問
④ 定められた再診日に受診をした患者。
⑤ T1からT3まで長崎大学病院で経過観察が行われた患者。

1. Patients who underwent mandibular osteotomy and took the cephalometric exams before (T1), right after (T2), and 12 months after (T3) surgery were included.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

① T2からT3までの期間に他の顎変形症手術をうけた患者。
② 全身疾患や症候群の一症状としての顎変形症を認める患者。
③ T1からT3までの期間に体重が5kg以上増減した患者。
④ 研究責任者が不適と判断した患者。

主な結果/Results

日本語
科学を反時計回転させた場合には、SSROはその回転量に関わらずある一定の後戻りを示した。IVROは極めて大きな後戻りを示した。SSROで固定をしない方法では、IVROよりは後戻りは少ないものの、回転量に比例して後戻りは大きかった。回転量が2.5度以下であれば、SSROより安定しているため、回転量が、2.5度を基準に、骨片固定を行うのか行わないかの指標になると考えられた、IVROは班時計回転の場合には行うべきではないと考えられた。
