目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
JCOG0707「病理病期I期（T1＞2 cm）非小細胞肺癌完全切除例に対する術後化学療法の臨床第III相試験」の登録患者に対して追加調査を行い、長期間フォローを行ったデータに基づいて、肺癌晩期再発の頻度や再発しやすい部位を確認する。また、二次がんの頻度および他病死の原因を調査することで、原病死と他病死の関係、さらには他病死のうち、二次がんによる死亡と非がんによる死亡の関係を確認する。

An ancillary study will be conducted on patients enrolled in the JCOG0707, "phase III Study of adjuvant chemotherapy for the patients resected pathological stage I (T1>2cm) non-small cell lung cancer", to elucidate the frequency of the late recurrence of lung cancer and the sites most likely to recur, based on the long-term follow-up data. In addition, the relationship between the death from primary lung cancer and the death from other disease will be assessed by examining the frequency of secondary cancers and the causes of deaths from other diseases. Furthermore, the relationship between deaths from secondary cancers and deaths from non-cancer causes among other disease deaths will be ascertained.

本附随研究では JCOG0707 の全登録患者に予後調査を行う。JCOG データセンターで保管しているJCOG0707 の既存データと、本附随研究の予後調査で得られたデータをもとに解析を行う。

In this study, all patients enrolled in the JCOG0707 will be subjected to a prognostic survey; the analysis will be based on the existing data of the JCOG0707 stored at the JCOG Data Center and the data obtained from the prognostic survey in this study.
