高齢者施設に入居している高齢者を対象に「アート作品の空間」「花」「ＢＧＭ」「アロマセラピー」の4つの空間を設営し、環境が高齢者にもたらす効果を明らかにすること目的とした。

The purpose of this study was to show the effects produced by environment on people living in facilities for the elderly, after four spaces were set up with artwork, flowers, background music (BGM), and aromatherapy fragrances.

高齢者施設に「アート作品の空間」「花を飾る」「音楽を流す（BGM）」「アロマセラピーの芳香」を6か月間設営する。設置後14日目、3か月後、6か月後、9か月後に調査する。

Environments with artwork, flowers, BGM, and aromatherapy were set up within these facilities for the elderly for 6 months. Surveys of the elderly people living in these facilities were conducted before the start of the study and 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months after the start of the study.

非認知症および軽度度認知症、会話ができる者、高齢者施設に居住する研究の同意が得られた者

People who had no to mild cognitive impairment, the ability to hold a conversation, who received a full explanation of the study and were able to understand its content, and who gave their own written consent.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

幻視のある者、重度の難聴、重度の視覚障害、体調不安定、香やにおいに対して拒否反応なある者

People with visual hallucinations, severe hearing loss, severe visual impairment, moderate to severe cognitive dysfunction, unstable physical condition, or adverse reactions to scents or smells.
