日本語
嚥下障害患者の浸透/誤嚥、残留物の重症度、残留物のクリアランスに対するとろみ付き炭酸飲料の嚥下の影響を嚥下内視鏡検査を使用して調べ、他の液体との反応の違いを特定することです。

Our study aims to determine the effect of sweetened carbonated thickened drink on penetration and/or aspiration, pharyngeal residue, and swallowing reflex in patients with dysphagia using Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and to identify differences in swallowing behavior versus other liquids.

2021年から2022年にYokohama Izumidai Hospitalにおいて嚥下障害の診断のためにFEESを実施された患者

Patients who underwent FEES for the diagnosis of dysphagia at Yokohama Izumidai Hospital between 2021 and 2022 were included in this study.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

18歳未満、主観的嚥下困難感を聴取できない認知機能障害がある対象者

Exclusion criteria were age less than 18 years and subjects with cognitive dysfunction that prevented hearing and subjective difficulty swallowing liquids.

主な結果/Results

日本語
平均年齢79.6±9.6歳の13人の患者を分析しました。とろみ炭酸の Penetration aspiration scale は、水よりも有意に低かった (p<0.05)。 嚥下反射の開始は、水ととろみ水の間で有意に異なっていました (p<0.01)。 さらに、事後分析により、とろみ炭酸では水よりも有意に低いことが明らかになりました (p<0.01)。 とろみ炭酸の主観的嚥下困難は、水よりも有意に低かった (p<0.05)。 とろみ炭酸は水よりも飲み込みやすく、複雑な疾患を伴う嚥下障害の高齢患者の浸透および/または誤嚥を改善する可能性があります。

Penetration aspiration scale was significantly lower in the carbonated thickened drink than the thin water (p<0.05). Swallowing reflex initiation was significantly different between the thin and thickened drink (p<0.01) ; moreover, post hoc analysis revealed that it was significantly lower in the carbonated thickened drink than the thin water (p<0.01). The subjective difficulty of swallowing in the carbonated thickened drink was significantly lower than the thickened water (p<0.05).
