1. 食道がんの診断がなされている者
2. 待機手術によって食道切除術が予定される者
3. NAC1クール終了後、2クール開始前にリハビリテーションを開始した者
[対照群]
1. 食道がんの診断がなされている者
2. 待機手術によって食道切除術が予定される者
3. NAC2クール後からリハビリテーションが開始となった者

[NAC group]
1. Patients who has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer
2. Patients who are scheduled for esophagectomy by standby surgery
3. Patients who started rehabilitation after completion of the first NAC course and before the start of the second NAC course
[Control group]
1. Patients who has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer
2. Patients who are scheduled for esophagectomy by standby surgery
3. Patients who started rehabilitation after 2 NAC course
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

1. 評価の実施に影響する脳血管および運動器疾患、認知機能障害がある者
2. 化学療法中および術後に治療を要す合併症を有した者
3. 化学療法が2クール未満の者
4. 放射線療法を併用して治療を行った者
5. 研究の趣旨が理解できずコミュニケーションが困難な者
6. 研究者等が研究対象者として不適切と判断した者

1. Patients with cerebrovascular, musculoskeletal disease and cognitive impairment that would affect the performance of the evaluation
2. Patients with complications requiring treatment during chemotherapy and postoperatively
3. Patients with less than 2 courses of NAC
4. Patients who have undergone radiation therapy
5. Patients who have difficulty communicating because they do not understand the purpose of the study
6.Patients who are deemed inappropriate as research subjects by the researcher

主な結果/Results

51名の患者を対象に分析を行った（早期プレハブ群：n = 17、後期プレハブ群：n = 34）。両群ともT1時点で6分間歩行距離（6MWD）の低下が認められ、T2時点で部分的な回復が見られた。早期プレハブ群はT2時点での6MWDの減少幅（-13 m）が、後期プレハブ群（-27 m）に比べて小さかったが、その差は統計的に有意ではなかった（p = 0.70）。筋力、疲労度、および総合的な健康状態スコアについては、早期プレハブ群に好ましい傾向が認められた。

Fifty-one patients were analyzed (early prehab group, n = 17; late prehab group, n = 34). Both groups showed a decline in 6MWD at T1 with partial recovery at T2. The early prehab group showed a smaller decrease in 6MWD at T2 (-13 m) compared to the late prehab group (-27 m), though the difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.70). Trends favored the early prehab group in muscle strength, fatigue, and global health status scores.

There were no significant differences between the groups in terms of age, sex, BMI, or comorbidities. NAC regimens, incidences of adverse events, and postoperative complications were similar between the two groups. The early prehab group received a mean of five supervised prehabilitation sessions during the NAC phase. The number of supervised sessions after the NAC phase was similar between groups.

スクリーニングを受けた75名の患者のうち、57名が対象基準を満たし、早期プレハブ群（n = 20）と後期プレハブ群（n = 37）に分けられた。各群から3名ずつ脱落し、最終的に早期プレハブ群17名、後期プレハブ群34名が解析対象となった。
