日本語
バーチャルリアリティ(VR)技術を用いた、計75分程度の認知症教育プログラムを提供する。プログラム内容は、認知症のある人とその家族についてのショートフィルム、認知症のある人の目線を体験するVR、認知症の症状と認知症の人との接し方に関するミニ講義、ショートフィルムとVRを視聴して対応や感想を話し合うディスカッションが含まれる。

A 75-minute dementia education program using virtual reality (VR) technology is delivered. The program consists of short films about people with dementia and their families, VR video to experience the perspective of a person with dementia, a mini-lecture provides symptoms of dementia and good communication with the PLWD by linking to VR and short films, and discussions about responses and impressions after watching the short films and VR.

主な結果/Results

日本語
76名の看護師が本研究に参加し、事前・事後テストを完了した。参加者の平均年齢は34.9歳、女性が90.8％を占めた。対応のあるt検定の結果、認知症の人々に対する態度、認知症の人々を支援しようとする行動意図、および認知症ケアの提供に対する自信において、いずれも統計的に有意な向上が認められた。

Seventy-six nurses participated in and completed the pre- and post-tests. The mean age was 34.9  years, and 90.8% of the participants were female. A paired t-test showed significant before-after improvement in the participants ' attitudes towards people living with dementia, intentions of helping behaviour towards people living with dementia, and confidence in providing dementia care.
