主要目的は、ADHD症状を有する成人層のストレッサーの調査とする。副次的目的は、ADHD症状を有する成人層のストレッサーと種々の心理的・身体的状態との関連性の検討等とする。

成人ADHD症状有り群の方が成人ADHD症状無し群に比べて有意にPHQ-9得点が高く、抑うつ状態が高いことが示された。また，成人ADHD症状有り群の方が成人ADHD症状無し群に比べて、対人ストレスイベント尺度における対人葛藤得点，対人劣等得点，対人摩耗得点が有意に高く、対人ストレスが高いことが示された。また、媒介分析の結果、成人ADHD症状を有することが対人劣等に関するストレス因子を増加させ、その結果として抑うつ状態が悪化する可能性が示唆された。

The adult ADHD group had significantly higher PHQ-9 scores, indicating increased depression, compared to non-ADHD group. The adult ADHD group also scored significantly higher in interpersonal conflict scores, inferiority scores, and burnout scores on the Interpersonal Stress Events Scale, reflecting elevated interpersonal stress. Mediation analysis implied ADHD symptoms might heighten stress related to interpersonal inferiority, potentially worsening depression.

18歳以上の成人を対象とした横断的調査を実施した。クラウドソーシングサービス（ランサーズ）を用いて対象者を募集し、502名（男性256名，女性244名，無回答2名,平均年齢42.33歳）を解析対象者とした。
